Just what is a child dedication service at Grace Community Church?

It’s a celebration of your child.
Scripture teaches that children are a gift and a blessing from the Lord, (Psalm 127:3).  We want to celebrate that gift with you!

It’s a commitment you are making to the Lord.
In many ways, we should be calling this ceremony a parent dedication, for you will be making the pledge to bring up your child in the instruction of the Lord, (Proverbs 22:6).  

It’s a congregational pledge to you.
You won’t be the only ones on the hook that Sunday.  The church at large will also be making a pledge to you.  They will pledge to do their duty in helping with the spiritual development of your child, (Mark 10:13-16) and supporting you as you begin this momentous task.
